Twisted Toyfare Theater rec
Jan. 7th, 2011 08:59 pmI love reading Twisted Toyfare Theater. It parodies comics, especially Marvel. I read this funny two parter that made fun of the Civil War saga. It is hilarious. I decided to have only a few pages and panels scanned so that you can read it. It's in Toyfare Twisted Theater vol. 9.
( Warning, features Iron Man as either a drunk or a jerk )

A funny Reed panel
Dec. 30th, 2010 11:47 amI normally don't read Spiderman since I find it to be depressing. I find it ironic that I enjoy Warren Ennis' works like No Hero and yet I can't handle Spiderman too much. Anyway, I find that some Spiderman comics are funny and so I found this pic involving Reed Richards and XP-2000 in Peter Parker Spiderman 55.

Wow, and I thought that he's a married man. LOL

A Super Santa Scan
Dec. 24th, 2010 10:05 amWell, it's the day before Christmas and I want to share a comic featuring my first comic book hero... Superman with Sandy Claws...

Okay, Santa's not exactly the type that you would want to meet in a dark alley but Bibbo is a good guy with a generous heart. He's proof that you don't judge a book by its cover. He helped reunite Jimmy Olsen with his mom and played Santa to a bunch of orphans.
This came from The Adventures of Superman issue 487. It's a heartwarming issue.

Tony's secret lab scan
Dec. 15th, 2010 07:45 amIn one of my previous scans, I showed Tony while he was in his 'mild mannered geek' phase. I was reading Iron Man Issue number 44 and this came up. Apparently, you can take Tony out of the lab but...

Now, that's the Tony Stark that we all know and love.
And yes, he is in his underwear again... this time boxers. I didn't do it on purpose, I swear!

Tony as Normal Working Stiff
Dec. 7th, 2010 03:24 pmI got this from Iron Man 42 which is funny. You see, Tony got tired of being a billionaire playboy so he had Rhodey set up a new identity for him and he gave away all his money to become a normal working stiff. This is especially funny in hindsight after you see the movie.

This situation lasted only a few issues.
