Jeremy Brett as Sherlock Holmes
Dec. 19th, 2011 08:25 amI was curious about this 'Granada-verse' that the Sherlock Holmes fan fic writers talk about and so I found this.
This series is impressive. Jeremy Brett makes a cool Sherlock Holmes. He speaks in such a way that demands that you listen to him. He acts superior but he has flaws. The two Watson in this series, David Burke, and Edward Hardwick are awesome and badass, especially the David Burke incarnation which is in this clip.
So, I recommend that you look up the Jeremy Brett Sherlock Holmes on youtube and on iTunes. I think that Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law studied this series to prepare for their roles.

"Let's play strip poker," Tony said while shuffling a deck of cards. "I'll go easy on you."
Pepper sighed. "Fine, but we have to wear clothes after the game."
"The winner decides what the loser wears." Tony dared.
The first round, Pepper took off her shoe. Tony grinned gleefully. Pepper did nothing.
The second round, Tony handed Pepper his jacket. After several rounds, Tony was down to his underwear. Pepper asked, "Giving up?"
"Never." Tony triumphantly produced a full house. Pepper got a straight flush. Tony's jaw dropped.
"Did I ever mention that I paid for college playing poker? Strip."

Cameras showed Iron Man flew after a successful rescue without a scratch, Pepper opened up the armor and gently cleaned the wounds.
Iron Man would strut around after a hard punch like it was nothing. Tony winced and moaned at the disinfectant being sprayed on his cuts.
Iron Man expressed nothing. Tony expressed pain on his face.
Iron Man never stopped. Tony rested on the bed while his loyal girlfriend sit by his side.
Everyone saw Iron Man. Only Pepper Potts saw Tony Stark.
